Day 2
Arriving in Entebbe, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Settle in and explore some of the city highlights.
Day 3
Today you will be transferred to the local airport for your flight to Bwindi. On arrival you will be driven to your lodge where you have free time to explore the grounds and surrounding area.
Day 4
Gorilla trekking may be done on day three or four (or both!). Do let us know if you are interested in the gorilla habituation experience - you can head out with researchers and rangers as they work to familiarise the gorillas with exposure to humans.
Day 5
Either head out for a second trek or explore the forest area further - depending on the sector of Bwindi you are staying in you can also plan trips to lakes and waterfalls.
Day 6
Drive onwards to the Queen Elizabeth National Park, perhaps stopping en route at the Ishasha Community Project. Enjoy afternoon safari activities from your lodge.
Day 7
Full day of safari today. Head out on early morning game drives then in the afternoon relax on a leisurely boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel.
Day 8
Early start today as you walk into the Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee trekking. Drive onwards to Kibale Forest (crossing the equator) and walk round the Bigodi Swamps before arriving at your lodge.
Day 9
More chimpanzee tracking, this time in Kibale Forest with expert guides who are familiar with the troop's movements through the forest.
Day 10
Long drive back to Entebbe airport today before you fly back to the UK. (This drive can be upgraded to a flight transfer).

This is a super trip visiting most of Uganda’s top attractions at a relaxed pace to make sure you get the most out of each region. Multiple chances to track gorillas and chimpanzees are the prime focus of the trip, complimented by safaris in Queen Elizabeth National Park with a mixture of early morning game drives to mirror the most active movements of wildlife that inhabit the park, boat cruises and chimpanzee tracking. Finally, no trip to see the primates of Uganda would be complete without visiting Kibale Forest, which offers the highest success rate for tracking chimpanzees.
