Atmospheric and awe-inspiring – a trip to the Top of the Falls viewpoint is a highlight of time spent in Murchison Falls National Park. Choose whether to drive the majority of the way or to walk in, then stand and admire the crashing majesty of your surroundings as the river squeezes through an 8 metre gap in the escarpment. When combined with a sedate boat cruise to the bottom of the Falls and then a hike to the viewpoint at the top, visitors experience the beauty of the Falls from both perspectives, and can include some wildlife viewing on the riverbanks on the way.
